Achern - DE

Achern was a brilliant start to the 2026 tournament season. Ernst Frida and Andreas Bohnert (club chairman) had planned everything perfectly. The numerous AJA riders were especially pleased that seven French, four Dutch, and one Luxembourger had made their way to Achern. A good number of riders over 45 from the region were also very welcome. The starting fields of between 30 and 40 participants were well-balanced. Besides the riding, all the riders felt very comfortable at the welcome evening with wine tasting and at the tarte flambée evening in the beautifully decorated clubhouse. Whether it was the stables, the jumping arena, or the exceptionally good and numerous prizes, everything was received with great gratitude by the participants and rewarded with a huge wave of thanks via WhatsApp after the tournament. Of course, Ernst Frida and his wife Regine, as well as Andreas and his entire team of club helpers, were the focus of attention. Five victories went to our international AJA friends: two wins (tests 23 and 22) to Laurenz for the Netherlands, two more wins (tests 17 and 19) to Hubert from France, the win in test 16 also went to France, to Stephane, and Bernward secured the two victories for AJA Germany in tests 21 and 18.
